COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Dear Customers,

Please may I continue to thank you all for your support and patience as we strive to operate and work forward. We continue to maintain a reduced workforce and some of our support staff remain on furlough. We understand that the current climate in business is tough, even more so in these uncertain times and we too have had to make challenging decisions.

Unfortunately we have had to make redundancies along our journey and are very sad to say goodbye to Jo Russell, who I'm sure you all will have contacted at some point throughout her time with DEOS. Jo you will be very missed by us all, but I know that you will succeed in your next chapter.

The majority of our customers are now back to work and many are looking to reopen their offices. If you do require any supplies and can not find the products or price you are looking for, please do contact us today.

As previously communicated one of our main Wholesalers went into administration earlier in the year. A prepack deal has been made and as such we can begin to purchase the 5* Star brand and have access to an additional 20,000 products once more.

Finally, we are glad to announce that we will be rolling out our next day service in September. All orders over £30.00 will automatically qualify for free next day delivery. If you order is under £30.00 a small order fee of £2.95 will be added to your order. However whilst we are unable to guarantee a next day service we will strive to keep you informed of any unforeseen delays.

If you have any questions, why not get in touch and email sales@deosgroup.co.uk or speak to your account manager.

Many thanks
Luke Lambeth
Procurement & Operations Director.

Dear Customers,
As the country starts to reopen and businesses return to work, trying to remain safe is on everyone’s highest priority.

Thank you all for your support and patience as we strive to operate a new “normal” and supply you as quickly as we can with limited resources. We maintain a reduced workforce and whilst we are seeing a rise in demand for services some of our support staff remain on furlough.

Our sales team continue to stay on hand to assist all our clients who are looking to implement a new way of working either remotely or the physical re-opening of your workplace. Over the past three and more months we have realised that as a business we must adapt and do so quickly, in order to not only survive, but just as importantly assist you will all your business requirements.

We have significantly expanded our portfolio of PPE; cleaning and home office products in a very short period in an effort to adapt to the current market demand. Whatever your requirements, please contact us today.

As mentioned in my previous statement one of our suppliers recently entered administration, our thoughts are with those employees who sadly lost their jobs. Fortunately, for DEOS Group this only affected our supply chain temporarily and we have already opened new accounts with manufactures and wholesalers to fill the product void. If your order has been affected the item will have been cancelled and you will need to place a new order for the products you require.

Our promotional gift is still suspended due to supply issues however, we will soon be offering you an alternative product to thank you for your order very soon therefore please stay tuned!

Thank you again for your support and please do not hesitate to reach out to the team with your enquiry.

Keep in touch,
Luke Lambeth
Director of Operations & Procurement

Dear Customers,
We hope you remain safe & well at this time and hope you are able to get back to work.

We have received notification that one of our primary suppliers has entered administration and as such will not be supplying us for the foreseeable future. As such any outstanding orders with this supplier will be cancelled affecting your orders. We will switch to alternative suppliers where possible however forecast a couple of items will be marked down on your orders.

I also regret to inform you at this time we have suspended the promotional gift offer due to a supply issue, we hope that it can be reinstated soon.

We are still operating with skeleton staff adhering to social distancing measures. All orders continue to be processed and delivered on a next day service where possible, however with the latest news some orders may take longer to be delivered.

Stay Safe,
Luke Lambeth
Director of Operations & Procurement

Dear Customers,
We hope you remain safe & well at this time.

We remain open for business and committed to supporting you and your business. We are still operating with skeleton staff adhering to social distancing measures. All orders continue to be processed and I am pleased to confirm that the majority of orders are still being delivered on a next day service. However, we remain in very challenging times and there still remain supply chain issues especially on crucial COVID19 high demand products such like hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes, surface cleaners and gloves etc.

I ask you all to review your outstanding orders with us and contact us immediately if any items are critically urgent, we will help where we can in providing you a suitable alternative that is in stock. If you no longer require any item(s) that is on backorder, please contact us so that we can cancel this for you. Our drivers are the face of our company and still making crucial deliveries, but we would like to reduce the number they make if they are not needed.

Once again, I would like to reassure you that DEOS GROUP remains committed to supporting you and your business during these difficult times. We are very much open for business and value your continued custom and support.
Stay Safe,
Luke Lambeth
Director of Operations & Procurement

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and the steps we have taken to protect the health and safety of both our employee’s and customers, we wanted to update you on the measures we have put in place to minimise disruption to your business and to give you a clear and honest appraisal of the current situation regarding product and supply.
  • Supply Issues – Sanitisers
These products are directly impacted by the unprecedented demand that the current situation necessitates. We are in regular contact with our suppliers of these products and every effort is being made to provide stock as soon as possible. However, supply of certain products within this category is rightly being prioritised for the NHS and the other public bodies responding to the current situation. As a result, while stock is expected shortly on some products within this category, on others we have no current due-date from our suppliers. This is an ever-changing picture and we hope to be clearer on when stock can be expected as manufacturing begins to catch-up with demand.

  • Increasing Demand – Cleansing Wipes, Paper Disposables & Toilet Rolls
To a lesser degree we have seen a significant increase in the demand for certain associated product categories – specifically cleansing wipes, paper towels, tissues and toilet rolls. In these product categories the scale of manufacturing and better availability of raw materials means that currently suppliers are keeping up with demand albeit with some slight delays. In these areas we currently have good stock availability, with only a handful of SKU’s off-stock at present and re-supply of most expected in the next two weeks.

  • Pricing & Back-Orders on these Product Categories
As I’m sure you can appreciate from the detail above, increased demand and lack of stock availability has resulted in a general market increase in the cost of these products, driven by inflationary pressures on the cost of raw materials and of accelerated manufacturing. We have also taken the decision to pay some supplier’s upfront, where this prioritises and expedites delivery of stock to DEOS. While we actively work to reduce the impact of these increases as much as possible, some are unavoidable and we may need to pass these on.
The challenges above also mean we’re currently holding a higher number of back-orders on our systems than in the normal course of business. We are happy to maintain these and will aim to fulfil all orders as soon as possible, but we do as a business need to put additional measures in place to protect our own position and that of our supply chain partners, as detailed below… All existing back-orders and any new orders for products within the Sanitisers product category (click here to view the codes) will be set as non-cancellable and non-returnable from Wednesday, March 18th. Therefore we ask that all customers review their existing back-orders by close of play on Tuesday, March 17th and cancel any that are no longer required in light of this change.
The situation is evolving rapidly but I want to re-assure you that we are doing our utmost to curtail disruption to your business. We are closely monitoring all levels of our supply chain and will continue to provide updates as and when they’re necessary. In the mean time I want you to know that in all instances our goal is to support those customers who support DEOS – be that through our pricing approach or by means of prioritising stock.
Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging period. Should you have any queries relating to this communication then please get in touch with your DEOS Group account contact
